Overview
Crossworld, a non-profit mission agency based in Kansas City, Mo., is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for Development to provide administrative support and contribute to Crossworld’s fundraising success for high-impact ministries around the world.

Purpose
Crossworld’s dream is to send and support disciple-makers from all professions who will bring God’s love to life in the world’s least-reached marketplaces. Every department and employee is aligned with this purpose. The ideal candidate for the Administrative Assistant for Development will be enthused about Crossworld’s dream and be able to articulate it with clarity and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities
This role reports to the Associate Director of Advancement and advances Crossworld’s disciple-making vision by owning and executing responsibilities in a timely, effective, and efficient manner. Responsibilities range from completing simultaneous administrative tasks to managing sensitive donor, international staff, and constituent communications. 

Skills
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to demonstrate experience making sensitive decisions, owning critical tasks, and interacting with people in a caring yet decisive manner. He or she should be an outstanding verbal and written communicator — able to convey thoughts in articulate, compelling, and at times sensitive ways. Competencies in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and confidence in using technology in general are expected. Important for this role is a balance between both organizational and relational skills. A general knowledge of accounting is preferred. Training will be provided in elements unique to Crossworld.
