Way of Hope (Southeast Asia)

Start a Campaign

In 2014 the Father gave Crossworld worker Jamie a vision to help people in Southeast Asia to break free from chains of fear, darkness, shame and lies to walk in freedom, light, healing and truth so the Way of Hope project was born.

Jamie wrote a fictional story, Door To New Life, to help locals identify the root of their own pain and then in a small group of trusted friends, find healing as they get to know the true healer better together.

Topics in the book address: self-image, relational conflict, domestic abuse, grooming, rape, prostitution and suicide as well as who Jesus is, how to begin new life in Him, and walk with others who love Him.

Jamie and a team of locals, including her local writing partner, the illustrator, and feedback team have helped craft this project to care for those in their specific community.

As small groups meet and discuss the Way of Hope God is moving. One participant shared, "The girl in the story is me. I want something better for her."

Jamie says through this book and discussion groups, “We want to see broken people living with joy & peace in relationship with God and others because of healing in their soul.”

This is what your gift to the Way of Hope project can do:

  • Employ a local believer to help with writing and editing
  • Support marketing efforts to reach more people with the message of hope
  • Cover the cost of printed materials for use in small groups

When you give a gift you help provide hope to those lost in fear and shame. Will you give a gift today to help more people access hope?
