Church planting in Italy is slow and fruit isn’t best measured by numeric growth, but by faithfulness to God’s calling and lives changed by the power of his Spirit.

Cristiani Biblici Insieme (literally “Biblical Christians Together”) is an Italian-speaking church with 60-70 members. The International Bible Fellowship is an English-speaking church filled with worshippers from around the globe. Both congregations shine the light of Jesus and the truth of his Word in the city of Sesto Calende northwest of Milan.

The church was born in the hearts of an Italian couple that came to faith through a Crossworld-planted church in Milan. The Spirit inspired them to envision a body of believers gathering in their own town of Sesto Calende an hour outside the city. Since the early 2000s, Crossworld workers have been cultivating and shepherding this community, and the church continues to grow.

By supporting this ministry, you are helping to grow two local fellowships of Christ-followers and reaching the local community with the Gospel of Grace—the message that salvation is through faith alone in our Lord Jesus Christ. By giving, you can join with our team in Sesto Calende in ministering to local Italian-speaking believers, international English-speaking expats, seekers, and Italians who want to learn English as a second language.

The fellowships are active in serving the local community in Christ’s name through English conversation projects in the elementary, middle, and high schools near the church. The Crossworld ministry team also hosts interns from North America to mentor them in their personal faith journey, train them in cross-cultural ministry, provide a space for them to use their gifts in both church fellowships.
