Missions Intern in Thailand

Location: Thailand

Description: You can engage in any of these three internship opportunities.

  1. Thai Teaching Project
Interested in teaching English overseas after you graduate? Get a taste of cross-cultural life and work now, so that you’re better prepared later. Spend a week orientation in Chiang Mai, then join a collaborative team of teachers who work at public schools in a least-reached part of Thailand. Learn alongside them as you teach your own English classes to young students. This is a great internship for elementary education majors and aspiring teachers! Build relationships with students, families, and other faculty, and share the love of Jesus with those you meet.

  2. Tutoring center
Join our staff who have started a small tutoring business to better equip underprivileged students in the English language. Their families may not have the ability to send them to quality schools, but their only hope for a better future is to learn English. This scholarship-based program allows students a path forward who otherwise would have no hope. You can help teach lessons, create individualized plans for students, lead activities, and build ongoing relationships with the students and their families.

  3. Video arts
Help create and distribute English language lessons on YouTube as part of our staff's vision to reach more areas of Thailand with quality education. Our team devotes themselves to creative, intentional, and excellent English education — a resource that's needed in every least-reached area of Thailand. Your skills in video production are need to help record, edit, and post videos of teachers in action. Along the way, learn what all-professions disciple-making looks like in a rural community setting.
