Overview
Crossworld, a non-profit mission agency based in Kansas City, Mo., is a formative community of disciple-makers from all professions bringing God’s love to life in the world’s least-reached marketplaces. We are accepting resumes for a full-time Human Resources Manager.
Function
The Human Resources Manager’s ministry advances Crossworld’s disciple-making vision by serving our international and home office staff as part of the Community Services Team. This involves explaining and implementing Crossworld’s policies and procedures, handling administrative tasks related to international leadership teams, serving as a point person for international staff questions and administrative needs, and completing many administrative tasks. Additionally, The Human Resources Manager assists the Community Services Director in the areas of policy, procedures, and legal compliance.

- Minimum of 2 years HR management experience

The applicant must profess faith in Jesus Christ, be supportive of Crossworld’s Statement of Faith, be an active member of an evangelical Christian church; be willing to participate in events, including Christian services, held or sponsored by Crossworld; be willing to share their personal testimony; refrain from committing any act which detracts from the Christian testimony and ministry of Crossworld; and fulfill other ministry functions and requirements that may be requested by Crossworld. A passion to see God’s glory proclaimed among all peoples, as well as an understanding and excitement for Crossworld’s vision in the Great Commission will characterize the person we hire. It is important that the applicant understands their role in helping achieve Crossworld’s mission, therefore viewing their job assignment as a ministry.
Core Responsibilities
- Policy & Compliance: Update policy and procedures manual. Understand, interpret, apply and explain Crossworld policies. Assist with compliance standards. Uphold confidentiality, safeguarding, and data-privacy protocols.
- Staff interaction: Answer policy questions. Direct staff on appropriate procedures for their situation.
- Administrative tasks: Prepare letters and documents for international staff needs. Document various training courses/events. Update job descriptions. Track annual review process for international staff. Handle various administrative tasks for the Community Services department and international leadership teams.
- Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings, prayer times, and faith-based events.
