MK Scholarships
With the ever-increasing cost of higher education, many Crossworld families simply can’t afford college for their children.
Many MKs (missionary kids) aren’t permitted by the government to work in their host countries and so can’t save money during high school. Because MKs who attend non-English-speaking schools overseas tend to score lower on American standardized tests, they often don’t qualify for scholarships.
Many parents are undersupported workers themselves and can’t raise the extra college supplement. After growing up overseas, many MKs have a heart for people and other cultures. But if they pay for college with loans, the debt they incur in school keeps them from going into ministry immediately after graduation.
