Haiti Emergency Relief

Project #50002

A magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck northwest Haiti on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018. The earthquake and its aftershocks have left at least 12 dead and 188 wounded, according to CNN.

Crossworld workers, who live less than 15 miles from the earthquake’s epicenter, are working to provide relief to their Haitian community. Crossworld worker Bruce said:

I saw a huge church that will either fall down soon or have to be taken down, and a school collapsed this afternoon. Many houses are either badly damaged or down. The nearby hospitals are overrun and there were not enough doctors during the early hours of the crisis. Beraca Medical Center is trying to treat people and get them out so they have space for more coming in.

You can help meet urgent needs in Haiti. Give to the Haiti Emergency Relief Fund, and you are bringing God’s love to life.

You can give with confidence. Haiti is one of Crossworld’s longest-standing ministry areas. Because of close relationships with Haitian ministry partners, we are able to work effectively with the Haitian church to ensure that funds are used to benefit those in need. Crossworld is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, and we are members of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and the Canadian Council of Christian Charities. Our financial statements are independently audited every year, and copies are available upon request.
