While some African pastors own a study Bible or an English book left by a missionary, they rarely have anything else.

With no way to obtain quality resources, false theology often infiltrates the church.

The Pastors’ Library project hosts conferences across French-speaking Africa for pastors to learn to use the resources given to them.

At the end of the conference, each pastor receives a 34-book set of commentaries, theologies, concordances and other resources to help them lead the African church.

Your gift can help supply resource book sets to pastors across French-speaking Africa.

In the pastors’ words:

  • “I [have] learned many practical things and cannot wait to use them in the church. It is not only I who am blessed, but my entire church will also be blessed…. My gratitude is overflowing.”
  • “May the Lord spread this manna to other pastors so that they, like me, have no excuse for not rightly dividing the Word and transmitting it in a true and efficacious manner.”
  • “Thank you for your gift. I bless God’s name for it. May He give us the strength to put into practice what we’ve heard and read so that we can bear fruit that will give glory to God’s name.”
Since January 2013, 3,400 African pastors in Chad, Cameroon and the Central African Republic have received biblical resources to lead their churches. Thank you for your prayers and gifts that have helped make it happen! The SIM Francophone Pastors’ Book Set Project for Africa is nearing completion, though the full cost of the training conferences and book distributions have not yet been covered.
