“I’ve Never Had So Much Coffee in My Life”
BALKANS — Crossworld worker Kristin glanced around the room at each college student sitting in the circle. They had finished a long day, and tonight was an opportunity for them to debrief together.
“I’ve never had so much coffee in my life!”
“I was so saddened by the poverty that I saw at Larisa’s house.”
“Mirna sang to us the worship song that she learned at English camp last year.”
“They asked me about my life and they really listened. At the Holy Spirit’s prompting, I shared about Jesus’ saving work in my own life.”
While students shared, Kristin silently thanked God for each person around the circle. They gave their time, effort and finances to come to a foreign land, Kristin thought. Because of their willingness, people were hearing about Christ’s magnificent work for the first time in their lives.
