IRELAND — Craving a good salami on rye while standing in line at the local deli, Michael, a disciple-maker with Crossworld, heard his name from behind. Turning, he saw Phillip, a member of the photographer club he had joined a few months ago.
“Thank you for sending me that card when my sister passed away,” Phillip said, his sincerity evident. “You’re welcome to eat with me if you’re not rushing out.”
Chatting over lunch, Phillip shared more about his sister, saying he appreciated the small booklet on dealing with the loss of a loved one that Michael had tucked in the envelope. “Thank you for praying for me and my family,” Phillip said again as the meal ended.
Michael and his friend agreed to meet again the following week … and the next week and the next. Now, their regular chats cover family, work and the hobby that brought them together: photography. In the context of daily life, Michael is building a relationship and sharing God’s truth ― making a disciple.
