JAPAN — Yumi and Ren live in Tokyo, Japan. Each morning, they leave for work by 6 a.m. and don’t get home until 10 p.m. Their nine-year-old daughter, Mei, is left to fend for herself, and she often skips school to escape the pressure of the Japanese school system.
Yumi, Ren, and Mei have never met a follower of Jesus.
Sadly, their story is not an isolated case. The Japanese are the second-largest unreached people group in the world. There are very few churches in Japan, and only half of them have a children’s ministry working to reach kids like Mei.
How will Mei’s family ever find the hope that Jesus brings?
This is why we need you. The Crossworld team in Japan is growing and more workers are interested in serving in this country, but they need help to get there.
