Feeling the tension between football and faith? You don’t have to choose, because the football field is now your mission field.
Big Picture
Think American football belongs only to America? Think again. The gridiron is gaining ground around the world, and with its growing popularity comes a growing demand for American football coaches like you. That football fever you thought was a distraction away from God might be just the thing He wants you to use for Him.
Your love for the game will earn you the job, but your love for your players will earn you their respect. When you become Coach, you also become a counselor, a mentor, and a friend. And when the locker room talk turns to something real, you’ll be able to share the one thing that means more to you than football: Jesus.
Your profession. Your mission.
From flag football to collegiate contracts and everything in between, we’ll help you find a coaching position that fits your experience and interest. Some positions are paid, and others can be combined with a paid position teaching English.
Take a job as a football coach or offensive/defensive coordinator. Train the young men on your team to develop both the skill and love for American football, all the while discipling them on and off the field.
Become a coaching mentor for local men as they learn to train players from ages 6-16.
Help run a 10-day football camp for dozens of students during the summer. Get to know them on and off the field, and catch a glimpse of what God might want to do through you as an international coach.
Join a local league and play football alongside a team of guys in an unreached country. Live and love like Jesus, and teach them to do the same.
No more football versus faith. You can do what you love and make it count for eternity. So grab your coach’s hat and whistle. It’s game time.
Talk to us about how your football skills can be your bridge to missions among the unreached.
